How to change the dress hemmed in a regular bubble hem?
I have a dress that is knee length with just right now a regular old hem. I want to change to be a bubble hem tutorial please? Thank you D!
You would need to bend the bottom of the dress at the bottom about an inch or two, evenly on all sides. Then you need a certain elasticity in the fold. Sew one end of the elastic to the skirt and then sewing a new seam at the top of the fold, leaving a void at the end so you can pull the elastic as tight as you want. When you've pulled, pin and sew up the skirt. Finally sew the gap. Hope that makes sense, it is difficult to explain. Skirt? Dress? Whatever haha
