Can I make these shoes look fun and flirty, rather then trashy? HELP NEEDED?

I have my year 12 formal coming up and I have already purchased my dress, its a knee length silver dress with a white pattern intertwined on it, the pattern is not very noticeable though. It's strapless.
I wan't to make sure I have statement shoes seeing as my dress isn't that out there, and I liked these http://www.stevemadden.com/Item.aspx?id=52003&np=127_282-403_503 ( multi glitter) before I knew that they were associated with ' Snooki' from Jersey Shore.. which I haven't watched. So what do you think? Think that they will be to silver and clash with my dress? Or do you think I as a 17 year old could pull these off? I would have black or pink nails and black or pink jewrelly ! please help meeee! thankyou

Silver can't clash with silver. Gold would be a no go. SIlver is fine.
If you didn't know about the Snooki connection, what makes you think everyone else will. It'll be fine.
